Government of Haryana has announced the launch of ‘Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Antyodaya Parivar Suraksha Yojana’ in the budget for the financial year 2023-24. Under this scheme, on the basis of the data verified in Family Information Data Repository (FIDR), financial assistance will be provided on the death or permanent disability of a member of a family above the age of 6 years and upto the age of 60 years having an annual income less than Rs 1.80 lakh. The scheme will provide assistance based on the age of the individual at the time of death or permanent disability.

Under this scheme, the assistance offered is Rs.1 lakh above 6 years and upto 12 years, Rs.2 lakh above 12 years and upto 18 years, Rs.3 lakh above 18 years and upto 25 years, Rs. 5 lakh above 25 years and upto 45 years and financial assistance of Rs. 3 lakh will be given above the age of 45 and upto 60 years.
This benefit will also include the amount of Rs 2 lakhs received under Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana. Connecting poor families with the main stream of the society is and will remain the first priority Government of Haryana.
- This scheme shall be operated under the rules defined in The Uttar Pradesh Government Servant(Medical Attendance) Rules – 2011, (as amended in 2014, 2016 and 2021). The definition of Government Servant is available under “GO/Guidelines”.
- Cashless medical treatment facility has been provided to the government servants, retired government servant and their dependent families of Uttar Pradesh state by the GO dated 07 January 2022 issued by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. This facility will be available in all private hospitals and government hospitals empanelled under Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana. Cashless medical treatment of up to Rs.5 lakh per annum will be available to each beneficiary family in private empanelled hospitals. Whereas cashless treatment will be available without any financial limit in Government medical institutions/hospitals. To get the benefit of the scheme, it is mandatory for every eligible beneficiary to have a State Health Card. Cashless treatment will be available in the empanelled hospitals after ensuring the identity of the beneficiary with the help of State Health Card.

- (1). The scheme provides cashless treatment facility to UP State Government Employees, Retired State Government Employees and their dependents.
- (2). Cashless Treatment facility is available in Ayushman Empanelled Private and Government Hospitals.
- (3). Cashless Treatment up to Rs. 5 lakh per year per family is available to each beneficiary family in Private Hospitals Empanelled under Ayushaman Bharat.
- (4). Cashless Treatment without any financial limit will be available to beneficiary families in Government Medical Colleges, Institutions and other Government hospitals of Uttar Pradesh.
- (5). All State Government Employees, Retired State Government Employees and their dependents are eligible for cashless treatment under the scheme.
- (6). All State Government Employees, Retired State Government Employees and their dependents would be given a State Health Card.
